Vestiges, Ltd. is a charming, creative clothing boutique designed for the distinctive taste of women who enjoy finding something special and unique to set them apart from the crowd.

Each item of clothing at Vestiges has been chosen with you in mind. Our goal is to give you excellent quality, a great fit and comfortable, wearable apparel. Each and every season we look for wonderful fabrics with a variety of textures and beautiful, subtle hues. You will never encounter the "same old, same old" at Vestiges.

We're located in the quaint little city of Red Wing, Minnesota. There is not a more charming place to spend the day than in this beautiful, historic community on the banks of the famed Mississippi River. Vestiges is in the elegant St. James Hotel in the very heart of Red Wing and only a short sixty minute drive from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul). Once you arrive in our picturesque little community, you can fill your days with shopping at Vestiges and the other wonderful boutiques and gift shops in the St. James Shopping Court. Spend time antiquing and exploring the historic homes in our community. Hike or bike the groomed trails, or golf at the beautiful challenging courses in the area. Maybe you will want to visit our own historic Red Wing Pottery where you can watch potters at work seven days a week and purchase a little something from their gift shop. The Mighty Mississippi is at your beck and call in Red Wing. Sit on the levee, within a stones throw from the Hotel, and watch eagles soar over the river looking for a fresh catch of fish for lunch. It's great fun just to watch the huge river barges maneuver their way through the narrow channel in front of the St. James Hotel. The possibilities are endless. Come for the day and spend the weekend. A day is not enough to take in all that Red Wing has to offer.

The dictionary describes "vestige" as: 1. a mark, trace, or visible evidence of something which is no longer present or in existence 2. a surviving evidence or memorial of some condition, practice, etc. 3. footprint or track, a trace from the past.

In that vein, I like to think of Vestiges, Ltd. as a wonderful throwback from the past. Remember an era when you could go into an establishment and the staff remembered your name and were familiar with your likes and dislikes. We truly enjoy working with our customers and take great pride in finding just the right item to fill their needs. We offer free basic alterations on most items and the workmanship is superb.
